A slide from your villa straight into the lagoon is one of the most playful things you can book in the Maldives. Only a small number of resorts have them, and usually only in certain villa types. This guide explains where to find villa slides, who they suit and what to check before you book.
How villa slides work
Most villa slides start on an upper deck of an overwater villa and end in the lagoon below. Some beach villas have a slide that ends in the villa's own pool instead. The slide comes with the villa, so you book the villa type by name, not just the resort.
