A private pool turns your villa into your own retreat. You can swim at any hour, steps from your bed, with the lagoon or beach just beyond. This guide lists our hand-picked resorts with private pool villas and explains what to check. To compare villa types, see our overwater villas vs beach villas guide.
Beach or overwater pool villa?
A beach pool villa usually offers more privacy and direct access to the sand, which suits families. An overwater pool villa has steps into the lagoon and wide sea views, which many couples love. Pool size and privacy differ from villa to villa, so ask us before you choose.
