About North Ari Atoll

Ari Atoll is one of the larger Maldives atolls and is divided into North Ari and South Ari. An atoll is a ring of coral reef around a lagoon, with islands along the reef. North Ari suits travellers interested in diving, snorkelling and an island stay reached by seaplane or, in one case, speedboat.

Getting to North Ari resorts

Ananea Madivaru, Constance Halaveli Resort, Safari Island Resort & Spa and W Maldives are reached by seaplane from Malé. Niva Kuramathi Maldives can be reached by seaplane or speedboat from Malé.

The sea and marine life

North Ari has well-known dive sites and manta sites. At Ananea Madivaru, lagoon swimming and access to North Ari dive sites are part of the appeal.
